Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) continued to troll Donald Trump on social media after the president went viral for referring to a reporter as “piggy.”
“Quiet. Quiet, piggy,” Trump said on Friday to a seasoned journalist and White House reporter, Catherine Lucey.
After the clip spread online, Newsom’s official press office X account, with likely the help of AI, posted a series of edited images of Trump.
The first of many images highlighted Trump’s gold-themed Oval Office décor, depicting him as a pig holding a photo of his vision for what appears to be a renovation project adorned with all manner of gold fixtures.
Trump’s well-known appetite for attention was referenced in another post, as was the president’s rant about a Time Magazine cover, with a photo featuring a mock magazine starring Trump that incorporated the pig motif again.
